This is indeed a great looking leaf, and you have pictured it so well. It is great textures to be seen in the leaf, and you have brought them out so well.
The photo is Nice and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in every part of the leaf, and the exposure is Perfect.
The tight cropping is working well, and the leaf has got a good placement within the frame. A great looking and well taken photo With a good DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

A beautiful picture of this bronze coloured immature Victoria amazonica leaf floating beside a green mature leaf, with tree leaves floating around it's rim. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Quite a remarkable leaf. I assume from the size of the floating leaves that this one is something short of the 4-6 feet in diameter that it can achieve. A great shot with excellent colors.
