nice green surrounding the male mallard ducks; unfortunately your depth of field is too shallow, only the larger one is really in focus; moreover, no eye can be seen; a must in animal portraits;(look at Sange's pics)

Mallards are a huge favorite of mine, I see you have four mallard drakes resting in the grass, the two mallards in the middle are well focused, the one in front is a bit soft, when looking at birds , the viewer will look for a clear , well focused image that shows the natural colors and a clear eye, the heads on the drakes is too dark causing a loss of detail and no eyes can be seen. I appreciate your effort,

A nicely composed shot with excellent colors. What I found objectionable was the lack of eyes. Not one eye is visible and to me the bird's eye is the most important feature in 95% of the cases. Best of luck in the contest.
