You have captured so well this Great Blue Heron in flight so well Grace, and the stop action is just Perfect. The almost neutral background is very Nice for the bird to stand out in an excellent way.
The photo is of course also Sharp showing Clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is very good.
The format and frame is working well and the bird has been given a bit of room to move into. A lovely and well taken photo, and With an excellent DOF.

This is a great stop action shot - you got him at the very prefect second - so well stretched and I love his body line, so harmonious and beautiful - you really got him well framed and from a stunning straight view point normally birds are flying higher but this one is just up front
excellent reaction , perfect sharpness contrast and lighting - the grey background has perfect exposure too

Indeed, the bird adds color. His elegant flight looks majestic on the background of gray water. The photo is perfect exposed and well focused. Especial the refinement of the wings is impressive. Light and color are realistic. The bird is excellently placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.
