Very enjoyable photo of this frosty black eyed Susan, like the sharp details seen in the frost,as well as the details the frost brings out in this pretty little bloom.Pops nicely against that autumn brown backdrop.Great vertical format, good natural colors, very nicely seen and captured!

I like how the frost formed crystals on this lovely flower. The light and colors are lovely. The exposure is perfect. I like the soft background.

A lovely frosty nature image of this brown-eye Susan flower. I am surprised it has survived.
It does show the toll the cold has placed on it though.
It has a certain beauty all of its own. The colour and details are superb, lighting is wonderful. A lovely crisp, clear capture Grace!

Thank you! I was surprised too. Apparently the frost came a little early in the season.

What a great shot Grace! That light coating of frost looks like it caught the flower by surprise! Great lighting, focus, and framing. You really have a good eye for the artistic value of ordinary things.

WOW poor thing frozen but seems alive - excellent capture - your angle and view point really and making the shot special for the perfect perspective filling up the space in perfection
Every drop of frozen ice is clear and sharp letting us perceive the finest details of how it happens
excellent contrast and natural lighting - your shot is well framed , well composed and with this strong yellow color for sure it has a super visual impact - a nice find

This one is special as it looks like frozen in full bloom - well deserved

That's very nice and the poor thing does look like it's freezing. I very much like the detail in the frost in the centre and on the leaves. Not one hundred percent sure about the background but with a flash you could play about with losing or diminishing it. Good shot though.

Thank you! You do seem to have an affinity for flash photography. I might have to play with that a little :)

I always carry a flash and a wireless remote. God often needs a bit of help with his lighting. Pack one next time and give it a try. Oh and look up the inverse square law and you'll soon be a master (mistress ?)

Grace,
A beautiful picture of this Brown Eyed Susan covered in a layer of sparkling Has frost it's gold yellow petals starting to curl & either. The light shining from behind giving the flower a three dimensional appearance from it's blurred background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Nature's miracle creation to make them survive in such hostile weather conditions. We humans are very vulnerable I think!:) I like this nice shot. Natural and well presented. Thanks for sharing!
