They do indeed look like flowers. I'm sure I could make them colorful and looking even more like flowers. Very unusual shapes, and you have a good eye to notice it.

Thank you! I know you could make them even more awesome. I might have a different shot of these that you could play with :)

This is actually really neat! I love how calm the water looks and how clear this image is. I actually thought this was a ice butterfly haha

Nice work!

Very well spotted this little natural detail and well taken too. It's nicely framed and composed with good contrast and natural colours. A bizarre formation that does indeed look remarkably like flowers. Hope you were wearing your gloves ...

Yes, I do believe you made an appropriate identification here in your interesting nature photo posted here! Your fine and classical composition grants us a good look at the odd, bloom shaped icicles before you. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Grace,
A beautiful & unique picture of these "Ice Roses" clinging to the reed stems growing in the lake. The sunlight highlighting the "Roses" while the blue sky is reflected on the rippled water below the "Ice Roses". Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is fantastical. The ice looks like glass blossoms on dark stems. Ice-pearls hang on a stick like flower-buds. The reflections in the water are an intriguing background for this fantastic bouquet. The colors are realistic. The bouquet is exquisitely placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

I knew you would come up with outstanding shots and winter just has started - no more birds but excellent other topics - nature is so rich and you perceive it
this one is breath taking in its ice formation so Mother earth shoes her artistic side too and your shot gives it perfect reverence as it is perfectly clear and sharp - is well framed -the close up lets us investigates and your contrast and outdoor lighting is making the difference in natural luminosity and diagonal angle -
excellent item , thanks for sharing
