A dramatic presentation...
Dappled illumination casting soft shadows and faint highlights...
Sharply focused.
Fine facial features & smooth hair textures.
Compact framing.
Thanks for sharing...

I enjoyed looking at your jesse lying on the blanket so comfy. She is a cutie pie for sure. Im not so sure I like the lighting. I would have prefered that some light shined on her face even just a little bit as her face is a little too shadowed.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on little Miss Jesse looking back through the chair back into the garden. If I lightened her face her white flank would be over exposed.

How very nice Susan. I love the interplay of light and shadow in this one. The pose is well captured.
Jesse's face is just a tad dark but not enough to take away from this wonderful image. Well done Susan ~ Steve

What a sweet photo of your new love, she may be indeed channeling Juno. A nice candid photo, the first of many I am quite sure! She definitely is watching something,or is she deep in thought ,I wonder.

Cute pup!
Great focus on the subject.
Even the blanket looks fluffy.
I bet this pup would light up when outside at a park!
Good job.

Jesse is an adorable dog. The photo is focused. I wished the head would be more in the light, but this seems impossible with the lens pocket through the chair. Nevertheless, I can still see detail. The photo is focused and sufficiently exposed. The framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

Cleo,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on little Miss Jesse, she was bathed in dappled sunlight and shadows. If I'd lightened it it to see her face better the white fur would have been over exposed.

Awe, she has settled right in and she looks so content lying on her blanket on your legs, she has her head lifted to look out into your garden. Well captured to show a very happy and content Jesse, I like the way the sun light is coming in through the window! Well presented!

A very nice shot in tricky lighting conditions. I like this cropping and the beautiful colors. The catchlight in her left eye really makes this shot.

Looks like you went to some trouble to take this nice dog portrait! Your full and central composition grants us an enjoyable look at him. Like the interplay between the brights and the darks. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
