These are some really pretty ice formations. I think they could look even more interesting if the image was flipped upside down, It would make people wonder how they were formed. I like it.

OMG I wish for another 6as this is composed looking like dancers in a chorus line - it must be bitter cold already at your place
fantastic composition - excellent angle and perspective - it also looks like mushrooms with 4 legs or an invasion of Ice-ETs, and one is sitting on a branch -
your picture is clear and sharp and has genuine contrast -perfect lighting and excellent exposure
A well framed image well balanced and well done in details

Thank you! These were just a few inches of the water along the shore of the river.

HI Envision, I don't blame you for wanting to post these ice images. They are beautiful. I'm just as fascinated with them as you are. Soon as I find some ice here I'll be doing the same. You did a great job capturing these. I like your presentation! :o) Nancy

It is just fascinating to study the formations of the ice , here it does look like pendants ready to be hung on a chain. Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is perfect , the silvery tones in the ice look natural. Well composed and presented!

Well you're certainly getting out and about in the cold aren't you. Me I'm indoors in the warm setting up still life shots. A nice shot, well seen and taken. Exposure is good and the background doesn't interfere with the subject. I might crop a little off the right as that area doesn't seem important for the subject.
Very good shot.

Lol, thank you. I was trying to maintain a particular ratio but it isn't so important here so I could have just cropped more off the right :)
