So does your wife get along with your girlfriend? ;) It was nice that she helped in creating this lovely shot. The lighting is attractive, but my favorite part is the way the petals look. The textures and the shapes are great and could kind of symbolize the tears of sorrowful despair. I also think the composition is delightful.

Yes, she likes her a lot. This was taken last year before my girlfriend became my wife ... now I have to find another girlfriend :-)

A very good entry into the competion posted here! Your fine and traditional composition allows us a good view of drooping flower. Like the fine detail in the petals and on the stem. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!

The light effects are striking. The dark background emphasizes those effects. The emphasis on dropping stem and the withered leaves is especial intriguing. The flower is excellent focused. Even the fine hairs on the stem are visible. The tall framing is efficient. The composition is balanced.
