I really like this one, and everytime I pass it, I smile and say- I like that one. It is about progression but also I love the idea of it and the way the idea has been drawn, that cat there on the table. It is just so appealing.

Thank you. It's a simple sketch I must admit....got the idea from a cartoon and did my own thing. Have had lots of compliments on it.

This is very cute! I really like the expression that you gave the cat. Your outlines of their features look very nice. I also like the nice detail you put into the wood grain.

Too cute to see the order if the food chain here! Mouse eats spider, cat takes mouse!
Humor, creative and fine monochromatic tone.
Nice drawing Brenda ;)

This is awesome! Whiskers the cat is watching as the mouse sneakers toward the spider, I like the way you drew whiskers and his position as he watches the mouse from above, the mouse is well created with his big ears and long tail, and the spider just wants to find a place to hide! Well created with good detail, this could be a comic . Well presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

Very good entry for the contest. Great line drawing telling a story so clearly. We've had many cats over the years who have brought us presents, too! I like the simplicity of this drawing. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Loll - great and funny initial impact - creating immediately a smile in my face -great contest entry as in few line you tell an entire story , no words needed
your use of space is excellent - your story splendid - your animals are perfect in proportion and position - excellent job, a very impressive and expressive design - all the best for the contest

Brenda,
A beautiful & amusing picture of Whiskers ready to pounce on the Mouse who's chasing the Spider across the floor. Created with your artist's eye for composition, very skilful draftsmanship & the ability to convey on your canvas what your mind's eye sees.
My Tiga~Puss (A 15 pound Tabby Tom Cat) used to bring in live Mice for me at least twice a week....which I would catch in my hands, after putting Tiga in another room. I'd then release the Mice back into the end of the Garden. Keeping the Cat~Flap closed for a couple of hours to give the Mice a fighting chance of escaping.

Susan thank you for a great review. They say when your cat brings something home lije a mouse, it's a thank you for feeding them and it's their offering of food for you.
