Wow - I always wonder how it is possible that they are so close to each other - are there also the bodies or just the memory stones of soldiers who did not come home?
I love this tree in the center it looks like a tree of life and a guardian of the place and the souls
Of course you found the perfect view point, excellent distance to great a harmonious and well balanced picture
Super clear and sharp with excellent contrast and genuine day light lighting
a very impressive shot, well composed with a special day ambiance, well done

Thank you! I believe there are bodies, but some are cremains and some are just headstones.

This is an AMAZING photo. The tree of life in the center of loss. There is hope and life goes ojn around us even after we have passed. Our memories will live in the hearts of others for many generations. Such as the tree of life. A spectacular image. The loss of service men and women who have give the absolute sacrifice for the rest of the living to "live" . they have not died in vain. Their legacies life on.
Excellent captured image!

Beautifully taken perspective of this indeed somber scene of hallowed ground, the stones extending into the distance under the clouded sky.I like the trees with their fall foliage lending a bit of warmth to this garden of stone. A very emotional photo, many thanks for sharing!

Yes this one is somber. It reminds me of friends that have been lost in Afghanistan. It makes me sad yet proud at the same time. Mostly sad right now.

Nice POV with leading lines focusing the eye on the tree.

Good work Grace and thank you for posting ~ Steve

Impactful. Quite a 'moving photograph'. Thanks for sharing this it's a really interesting piece of work. The cool sky, the warm tree tones and the coldness of the graves all tell the story.

Oh this is perfect. You hit me directly in the heart. I struggle every time I am there. You have nailed this one. The angle is excellent. The dreary day is PERFECT for this image. Exceptional work. Well done.

One of my favorite places to spend time and reflect are cemeteries.
This is a beautifully angled shot. It has excellent depth of field!
The whole scene is attractive. I see four or five different trees going through "The change" LOL
Haha!
Well done!

That is a very large cemetery to hold that many soldiers that had died protecting this country . Natural colors and tones, good DoF, sharp focus, good composition and well framed. Overall, a very nice Photograph, well done
