This is clearly a six star vote photography presentation. It capture that feeling of awe and pleasure of simply being alive that can only be experienced by seeing a sunrise such as this. I don't know why but for me, when I see sunrises such as this one the whole rest of the day is happy and successful. Good cropping also with the sun in the lower left causing the viewer to bounce back and forth between the bright and dark parts of the picture. Reasons for my six star vote.

The textures of the clouds look unusual and interesting. The vivid colors are intriguing and appear realistic. The photo is well exposed. The framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.

You have to love the beauty of the sun and it's lovely colors in the sky. It is very crisp and smooth near the bottom with it's rich colors. When I look near the top it seems to have more ripple not sure why it looks more textured. all in all beautiful pic!

Beautiful clouds, colored by the rising sun, warm gold and orange tones, nice sense of motion . Well focused, the image is clear, exposure is managed well, colors and tones appear natural. Good entry for this contest! Best wishes to you!
