Holy shit! This kind of realism is rare and hard to believe this is a drawing. I only wish I could draw this well. Just when I thought I could draw, you blow me away. This work deserves more than simple recognition. Honestly? It's too good for this pathetic site. This kind of thing deserves better attention than this site has to offer. I don't give too many six star ratings, but this one takes the cake. I have never seen on this site any drawing with these photo, life-like qualities. There's just no way you drew this, at least not as an amateur. The only time I've seen photo-like drawings like this was from world class professional artist or instructors. I can't go on enough about it. This little girl looks as real as they come and I only wish I could draw like this. I regret that I have but six stars to give. This looks like a Glamor Shots studio portrait! How in the world do you do it? I couldn't do that if my life depended on it. AMAZING! God bless!

I am blown away with your review. I don't think I've ever received such praise. I thank you so very much for your encouragement.

I like drawing celebrities as a hobby. My next project would be old time child star Shirley Temple. Maybe you could give me a few pointers. God bless and keep up the breathtakingly realistic drawings...Zeith

The way you used the pencil is especially amazing on the details of the hair and how you were able to draw out the finest details in it, from the lightest to the darkest parts. As a painter I have a huge appreciation for artists who use other media by hand and that do it so masterfully, down to the finest detail, which you have done here. This looks like a photograph, and the way you used not only black and white, but some brown as well gives it a very vintage feel to it. Definitely have to give you six stars for this one.

What I do is from the direction of God. I have no talent in myself. He guides each move I make. Losing my daughters has been an extreme lesson, which to this day I have now answers. My heart is crushed, and I am waiting on our Lord for comfort and peace. I thank you for your wonderful review. Thank you for caring and for lifting me up.

What a beautiful tribute to your daughter. It must have been very challenging, emotionally to draw this but you have expressed a Stillness in time that can never be forgotten. You captured not just her physical likeness but more importantly her spirit. I'm sure this was very therapeutic for you, which coming from an art therapist I would say keep going with this.

I'm new to the site and I guess all my 6 stars are gone. Or I'd give 6 stars. I love this! You can draw! Do you paint? People that can drawn can paint. Normally anyways. ð??? I'm sorry for your loss. Painting helps me move through my sadness and grief in life.

Dear Heather, I don't know how well I can paint. I have always drawn with the pencil, as it was cheaper than painting. I never had money. God has blessed me with graphite pencil.

I bet you'd be an amazing painter

Obviously a great graphite pencil work. The shading transitions are terrific and features are well defined. Very talented, and my goal is to draw as well as you do. Thanks for sharing it as an inspiration and sorry for your loss.

Hi Linda, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your two daughters. I think your granddaughter is going to absolutely LOVE this!!! 1# Because it's a lovely image of her mother and 2# Because her grandmother drew it. I planned to give you a six before I even read the sad story behind drawing this. What a loving tribute to your daughter! Saying prayers for both you and your granddaughter. Many Blessings!!! :o) Nancy

It is so sad that two of your daughters have died. But it is also so beautiful that your granddaughter asked for a drawing and that you honored her request. Bless her for that request. You have a talent that should never be quenched. This is another beautiful example of that talent. Reasons for my five star vote.
