The sky looks so good with the black and white format which really makes the clouds appear dramatic. I also like how it emphasizes the textures of the stone church. The church is an interesting structure and the headstones add an intriguing historical element to the scene.

I like the monochromatic. The black and white emphasizes the age of the church and the graveyard. It is as if looking into another century. The photo is well focused and exposed. The church and gravestones show refined detail. The photo has good depth. The perspective is interesting. The framing is sufficient. The composition is balanced.

It's a nice shot, it's nicely composed and it's certainly sharp.
For me though it's just too grey and lacking contrast. Looking at the shadows I'm guessing you took this around midday, a morning or evening shot I think would have been better for you.

A beautiful picture of the Pakefield Church, Lowestoft Suffolk in black & white with it's surrounding Graveyard some head stones leaning at angles off the vertical. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera & editing techniques and sharp focus in bringing this ancient scene to life. Good luck in the contest.

A pretty reasonable entry into the competition posted here! The exposure and sharpness lend a relaxed view of your favourite church. Unfortunately they do not let me forget the regrettable composition. There is far too much distortion in the image. Nice try, best of luck!

Love this black and white photographs. I love cemeteries I could spend hours in a cemetery looking at the tombstones and also sitting there listening to the birds. You did a great composition. It's a grat backdrop for a movie. You're a good photographer. Keep it up

This is a beautiful old church, I see the graveyard in the foreground this is common here with the Russian churches, the graveyards are on the same grounds,
This is well focused, this image is clear, good black and white shows nice tonal range, I like the clouds in this one too!
