This is an interesting still life. The light effects in the background are indeed interesting. The capture our attention, but also emphasize the bottle. I like how the orange light reflects on the bottle. The limitation of color is intriguing. The tall format is adequate. The composition is balanced.

How very Cool,Len!
That "string of pearls effect" makes me think of the 'trails' that are visualized during the early stages of a 'trip' taken using low to medium grade Lysergic Acid Diethylamide !
( Not that I'D ever do such an illegal and dangerous thing! ; D )
It's a really 'Good Show' of a picture,my friend!

Thanks Sean. This is the sort of photo you take under LSD ... or so I've been told ;-)

This is very cool Len! Very creative use of a string of pearls and an LED flashlight, I can see the time and thought you have applied here, I like the tall bottle in front of the lights, it adds further interest and shape to your light show!
This is well accomplished and a good entry for this contest!
Best wishes to you!

An eye catching image that is well composed and perfect for this contest. I am curious about the exposure specs. If you would send me the f stop and exposure time, I would much appreciate it. A great idea that is very well executed. Best wishes in the contest.

Thanks michigan. FYI the lens was at f22 - as low as it would go given that it was daylight and I wanted a good depth of field to hold the light in focus. Shutter speed was 2.5 seconds to give me time to wave the torch and to not burn out the trails. So there you go, some experimentation and the shutter speed isn't TOO vital, a couple of seconds more would have given me pretty much the same result

One of the exciting things about creating works of art is discovering new things or techniques that work. This displays that concept very well. Use of light is great. Well framed and interesting. Thanks for sharing it.
