A beautiful & interesting picture of this Basilica dedicated " Bom Jesus" in Goa on the West coast of India South of Mumbai. The Basilica is beautifully framed by the tall Palm trees.
Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
Good luck in the contest.

my son in law's dad was from Goa. Very catholic people, unlike the mother, and my son inlaw was a Jesuit monk in his youth till my daughter saw him at Oxford and Heathrop /theology and philosophy degree/ and decided she had a more pressing future for him. Fortunately, if it is genuine, the church releases them as the family is considered the highest Grace, and indeed, they are still happily married. India is full of wonders, many of them religious wonders. I realised this when I lived in Delhi, there were altars along the road of any number of relgions, however in the Newspaper that week, was a fascinating article about how many of the death row murderers claimed God had ordered them to kill!! Slanted religion? Living in India is great as so many know English, if only to tell every english speaking person that the English killed my grandfather, grandmother etc /sorry, but I am not english!!/

I really like how you framed the Basilica with the two tree trunks, this gives depth to your scene. I like the trees up in front of this structure too.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is managed well, colors and tones appear natural.
Well composed and presented!
Best wishes to you in this contest!

Quite a nice entry into the competition posted here! Like the way you used the tree trunks to frame your lovely church out there. Are those palm trees taller than the church? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

A very nice shot. I like this perspective that shows the church in fine detail. The tropical setting is beautiful and the colors are fantastic. Best of luck in the contest.
