I like how well the tiny size of this bird stands out in your shot. The colors are markings look very nice and you caught good detail of the little guy's eye. I like how the tiny webs on the branch can be seen too.

Thank you;he was perched there where he could keep an eye on the deck feeder and go after any interlopers.

This is such a beautiful capture - his colors are outstanding and therefore it is a great contest entry - little but very special and he seems to know it
perfect composition with perfect framing - excellent in sharpness - perfect DOF, contrast and lighting
the dark macro dark green is a great complementary color to let his stand out so well

A wonderful picture of this tiny jewel coloured Hummingbird with his iridescent Ruby coloured throat, white breast & green head, back & wings with a catchlight in his eye as he watches you closely from his perch on a thorny bramble. the dark blurred green making the perfect contrasting background. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

The bird is perfectly focused.
The details of its body and plumage and the branch are pin sharp. The colors are realistic. How the branch curves through the frame is eye pleasing. The photo has good depth. The framing is adequate. The composition is balanced.
