This is a beautiful capture of this guy's feathers showing so much sharp detail. The colors are well exposed and his little face and cute feet show nicely.

The photo is excellently focused and exposed. The Junco is sharp. Even small details of its body and plumage are refined. The photo has good depth. I appreciate the realism of color and light. The bird is perfectly placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

A very nicely exposed shot. It is so easy to lose that dark eye in the plumage on his head. I like the composition and the excellent detail in the plumage.

A very good nature photo posted here! Your full and central composition grants us an enjoyable look at your junco. Never heard of one of these before! Like the eye gleam and feather detail. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

well done, I have been shooting these guys for years and they never seem to sit on a branch or even sit on my feeders, they show up here in Minnesota when winter sets in and are usually digging around in the snow, well done

Thank you so much for the great review! I've never seen a Junco perched on my feeders. They usually are on the ground under the feeders. Once in a while I'm lucky enough to see one in a bush or tree.

This is a great photo, Barbara! The junco is adorable, and the soft lighting is just right. I like the crop; it's close enough to see details, but not too cramped.
Good work!
