The soft blue hue and the Misty fog make this so special Pat.
What a peaceful and Beautiful view of nature mixed with man-made water plant offering the veil of fog.
Fine capture showing simplicity and beauty.

absolutely divine scenery. Is that true about the water? Is that a pink cloud or the remains of the sun peeping through the haze and mist? the reflections are gorgeous. Just ovely photo

Thank you so much! Yes, it?s true, this water never freezes! It is very close to sunset, it sets before 4 pm now, this is our darkest time of the year.

Lovely shot, cool tones with a warm highlight from that pink cloud. Nicely composed and an appropriate tonal contrast for the subject. Winter is here too in Southern France, snow on the mountain tops and I find myself reaching for a jacket when I go out. Summer seems a long way away ..... sigh.

Wow, that is interesting! Warm by a power plant huh?
I enjoy this gorgeous winter scene you captured here.
The reflection of the clouds towards the bottom of the photo looks like algae covered rocks at the bottom of a lake.
Well done Pat!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! Yes, this water never freezes, it?s the only place that I know of where there is open water year round.

Right image for the 15th reviewer! ;-)

A blue medal for this misty image with a bluish overtone!
Dramatic capture with placid reflections.

Squarish framing suits landscape shot nicely.

That peach patch of light symbolizes a hope for a brighter & warmer days ahead.

Thanks for sharing...

A beautiful winter image,it looks cold, but also very peaceful.Love the reflection and the shades of blue throughout with the little pop of color in the lone cloud setting atop the mountain peak.Excellent focus and dof,the rocks and bridge add additional interest to your scene.

This is a wonderful example of landscape photography. The sun setting over the mountain peak is beautiful and is,of course, enhanced by its reflection in the water. The provide a surreal effect to the entire photo. Well done!

Perfect title for this freezing air picture - I really never saw such a picture with freezing air in my life time - exceptional ambiance - the orange sunset cloud brings magic into this scene - the reflection is as sharp as the real landscape - a fantastic composition - super view point and artistic framing - how much degree was it? Wondering when the air freezes must be under zero .. Well done
