Daphne, I love your black horses with the blue tint, but I have to say that this golden horse is just as beautiful. Your color choices throughout the whole image are perfect. That azure blue sky and sandy ground look great behind the horses. Well done!

this has turned out so very wonderful and actually really love the golden colour in both name and horse (depicted). the composition works just fine and completed with a natural frame (cliff edge). with that bird soaring high in the sky, it could be a good omen for both success and prosperity. great details and always loving to see a snake added. they bring their own (type of) beauty to the nature. a desert scene without much water, though these animals look in rude health and pop out from the cover jacket.

I just sent five chapters off to Jerry to edit because even though I thought he was done he says he misses editing my work. I weaves a mood spell he says and transports him into another dimension, lol! He is a good spelling and copy editor, but knows nothing about horses. Maybe way down the road you might yet read it for creativity and improved choice of adjectives and that kind of thing. I think you DO relate the hybrid wild horse, western and real life intrigue type subject matter that it is....

This again is a fantastic composition with perfect use of space and so beautiful combination of nature and the animal world - this book cover just is GOLDEN in essence , purity and innocence - the horses re spectacular, not just in form and perfect design but also in their character and personality - very expressive book cover and for sure again I would grab that book for sure if it would fall into my hands in a book store -

The colors are lovely,entire design well thought out and presented,very well balanced with the mountainside and opposite cliff framing your marvelous horses.I like the added details of the hawk and the snake. Have started reading your first book,an earlier release under your real name and am finding it very interesting and enjoyable,no doubt this will be an excellent read also once done and published. Oh thank you for your keen observation. I would actually be a traditional artist except for injuries to my right hand. Vector art simply became a tool to bring my more traditional art back to life. Obvious it is not traditionally used that way....

Artists need an outlet if they cannot work in their domain. You use vector art perfectly in my opinion. :o)
