Very nicely drawn. The details in the shirt are lifelike leading the eye to the face of this child. There is indeed a look of apprehension on her face which you have captured so well. The black and white rendering adds a nice touch of drama. Well done ~ Steve

eyes,gaud i hate drawing eyes but you've done a great job on these ones.not only do they make the art come alive but they got a subtle pop to the picture too.anyhow good job

Hey Rick! This has been drawn and shaded really well. The use of light and the fact that it has been done in black and white add Alot to the piece. The emotion is well shown and captured in the child's face. Great work of art!

Strong emotional impact : this little girl appears to be sad, I see she is sitting at a table and it looks like she has the last bit of her sandwich in her hand , perhaps this is a type of sandwich that she doesn't like but was told to eat it before she can leave the table. Or perhaps something unpleasant will follow the lunch, that she's not feeling good about.
Well created face with good shape and structure, features are well suited to her face shape, I like her hair and the way it is parted on the side and falling freely to frame her face.
Nice attention to the details, I like her striped shirt.

This is very realistic. I can feel the anticipation and doubt in the child's eyes as to whether there will be any food for her today. Your drawing sends a strong message of hunger and anguish. It would make a great ad to abolish hunger for children in this world.
