Great aesthetics with the figure, as well as the color placement. I like the light shadows and the overall gentle placement of contrast, which I think amplifies the feminine nature of this painting. The expressive nature of the woman does well too, showing positive emotion. Great angle at which the woman is leaning, it has a very natural appeal to it, and it's slightly alluring, but also artistic and classical.

Her proportions look good and very natural. I like the color and detail of the blanket too, and how it accentuates her skin tones. It also seems to have a soft velvety texture to it that is very attractive and fits the sensual and luscious tone of the image.

I liked your use of color, especially the purple that made the rest of the piece just stand out to the naked eye (pun intended).
As far as the figure itself, she is definitely captured in all her humanly glory and such. I find too often some artists want to display the human body as near perfect, but I don't find that terribly authentic or realistic. Still, to each their own. You did really well in capturing it here.

I liked your use of color, especially the purple that made the rest of the piece just stand out to the naked eye (pun intended).
As far as the figure itself, she is definitely captured in all her humanly glory and such. I find too often some artists want to display the human body as near perfect, but I don't find that terribly authentic or realistic. Still, to each their own. You did really well in capturing it here.

Yay I love LOVE this piece! I love three detail from her crooked nose to the not so tight skin around the abdomen and shaved vagina. This is a beautiful piece. I love nude portraits. I have always wanted to be the model and have always wanted to do the draw but was never good enough in the past that to hold a candle stick to other artists and so it just always sat back and watched. Now I feel like I'm ready to give it a try at some point if only I can find that elusive nude model! This really is a nice piece of art and love even the detail of the purple velvet blanket that she is posing on. Please do more and I am a fan for sure! Good luck in the contest and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Thank you again. And while I have so many in my mind, I have to one, rebuild my studio since we moved from New Mexico to California and more importantly, I have no control over determining which painting among many in my mind that will succeed in the demand to become the next one.

Well, I wish my body looked like hers. It is sensual, but not sexual. I think that helps me appreciate what you have done in your series. You have painted well defined musculature and the body is well proportioned.

Well the body for me is hard to paint and especially naked cause you see all the imperfections and depending on the person,subject you're painting could make a good or bad impact on them.i myself try to stay away from the nudes ,but kudos to you keep on keeping on
