Whaat a wonderful capture of this adorable little bird,so nice it posed for you! Excellent focus, beautiful colors and detailing seen in the plumage, bright sharp eye with catchlight, nicely farmed by your mountain ash. Reminds me that I haven't seen any here this year;last winter we had a family of five, and it was the first time we had them come to our feeders. Such an enjoyable photo to view!

Wonderful and amazing! Another successful photo! The details are amazing! The colors are brilliant! The textures are impressive! The frost on his beak shows the season. gorgeous little bird. Do you imagine as he alights, there are enough nerves in his claws to feel the cold through them? I am going to put only my fingernail into snow and see if I can feel the cold! It fascinates me, as they are so tiny, yet manage to survive the cold. But you know Pat, it is not always the biggest who is the strongest. I could give you many examples in my life. I am small, just under five foot and was very slender most of my life, yet God is good and I am still her, through all the remote torturous probes, and banned tests.

A pretty good nature shot posted here! Your fine, full and central composition grants us an enjoyable look at your nuthatch. Reckon he has just been pecking in the snow for something tasty! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

I like the sharpness in this photo and how it makes it come alive. I like how the colors blend very well together with the browns and grays, and how they make the orange colors come out even more vivid this way. Seeing photos of animals this close always makes me wonder how close you actually were to them vs how much you used the zoom feature on the camera.

Thank you so much Andre, I used my 75 - 300 lens, and I would guess that this bird is about 15 feet away, this tree is right off my back deck and I am standing on the deck.

The little bird looks very proud. Its pose is intriguing. Its diagonal placement in the frame is pleasant. The refinement of detail is impressive. I see a little worm in its beak. The photo is excellently focused and exposed. Details a well refined. Light and colors are realistic. The composition is balanced.

A real treat to see a red breasted nuthatch; the ones around here don't have the red breasts. A very sharp shot with great composition and beautiful colors.

Very nice capture of a Nuthatch, cute little guy. Natural colors and tones in the scene. Good lighting, nice detail, sharp focus, good DoF, and well balanced photo and nicely composed in the frame. Overall, a Very Beautiful Wildlife Photograph, well done!
