Definitely an unusual candid scene between two lions and beautifully captured in the wild. Lovely close up profile and expressions with natural colours and clear details.
A pleasure to view!

Great capture of this tender moment! They look so sweet, like he's kissing her on the nose. Sharpness, exposure, and color are very good. Great entry for the contest!

thanks so much again;
a great entry, I agree, and most unusual;
unfortunately people on this site prefer vote for some very common wild life you can see every day and not for this very unusual capture; it only encourage me to leave this site!

I am impressed with this photograph. It has taken some time for me to find the words. The overall composition of limited color pallet, forms described but faded in with the background in the same color values, hues and limited pallet actually crosses the photography border of recording an event into the realm of artistic impression. This is a great piece of work. Reasons for my five star vote.

Lovely , tender moment between these tow big cats. Great crop. I feel that the lions faces are a bit soft. Maybe you can try to sharpen them up a bit. I would also consider removing the twig sticking up in front as it is a bit distracting.

The title of the photo says it all. That's incredible how this photo captures just that, and it's almost cartoon-like that it is so obvious that these lions are in love! I actually didn't know that lions can show affection like this to each other after seeing this photo. The expression of the male's face speaks volumes, with his eyes looking affectionately at the lioness, and the lioness bashfully smiles at his gesture. That's awesome how you were able to capture this moment of time, and showing the world that a love story is not only limited to humans.

A very nice shot. The interaction between these two is not something you would associate with lions. Great cropping and fine colors in this well timed capture.

You caught a very tender moment with the lions. Natural colors and tones in the scene. Good lighting, nice detail, sharp focus, good DoF, and well balanced photo and nicely composed in the frame. Overall, a Very Beautiful Wildlife Photograph, well done!
