The details of the skull look very good and sharp, but not over sharp. I think the shadows in this image also look very good and the textures are attractive.

Due to the shadows, this mixed media looks almost surreal. The monochromatic and dark background emphasize the skull remarkably. The photo is well focused and enhanced. The photo is sharp throughout and has good depth. The skull is excellently placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

This is an amazing study on light and shadows and of course the deer skull is the star of the show adding interest and a new texture to this scene! The shadows are just awesome! You have photographed this deer skull against the rock very well, spot on focus, this image is clear, exposure is perfect, I love the way you have composed this! Well presented!

HAHA!!! Many thanks for the review and well wishes,and for not revealing my secret identity! I was standing on a rock outcropping about a foot or two above it,this area is not very deep as some sections farther up on the neighboring property.
