From you notes on the starling, I now know that these sparrows were also introduced from Europe. They are very common in California..

Wow. I sure hope people know how difficult it truly is to capture these guys. They are so darn fast and rarely sit still and you have captured BOTH sitting still! My hat is off to you my dear, fantabulous job! Excellent detail. Well done!

A beautiful shot of these brown sparrows against the other brownish shades. I love birds, and even though these guys aren't flashy, photographing them may require even more skill than the more colorful birds. My admiration once again!

A nice looking pair all fluffed up in the cold. The slope of the roof they are sitting on gives them a very dynamic spacing. Beautiful colors and a great background.
