The kitten is adorable. Although, light and capture are soft, the photo shows refined detail. The eyes and the whiskers are especial intriguing. The colors are realistic. The kitten is well placed into the frame. The portrait is well composed.

A nice shot; how could you go wrong with a kitten or puppy for this contest? The lighting is a bit harsh leading to slightly burnt out highlights, but the composition is very nice. Best of luck in the contest.

Oh my goodness, how small and vulnerable. I hope she is still on her mama. Kittens are weaned way too young and suffer psychological stress as result; kittens especially need as much time as possible with the mother to grow into psychologically secure adults... Lovely white chest here! My admiration!

What hear-worming holiday news! I have found cats to be so special. My present rescue, a Siberian Forest Cat type that somehow got out on the way to a show, or was abandoned because his owner died, had been terribly vandalized and nearly died from having paint remover painted all over him, was shot full of bee bee pellets, and the list goes on. It cost me 5,500 dollars to have all his teeth removed because he destroyed his mouth trying to lick off the paint remover, and the roof of his mouth was eaten away up into his nasal passages. He was a young cat, and so grateful for help. He had major surgery to close up the roof of his mouth and extract all the teeth and sew up his gums. Now he races around, inside the house and acts silly and wants be with me wherever I go. So the vets would always recall his name, I named him Prince Firefly of Pom Pom! lol! (Fierfly because he is gold in color.) Nobody forgets his name! Daphne
