Normally so much empty space is a distraction to a scene. You have made it very effective in adding a sense of isolation and peace as the lone cyclist makes his way across the shore.
The limited color pallet is once again a very effective tool in this scene.

This is really cool for several reasons. It is a great landscape shot by itself. I like the cool and warm color contrast between the beach and the hills and sky. I also like the bicycler in the background to give the scene some action and at the same time serenity. Well done!

Overall I like this image,the cyclist on his own adds a sense of scale in this and I like the remoteness that comes across,if I have one thought it would have been bette if he had been on the right in this,allowing him to go into the frame,but still like it...Brian

It is a lovely scene you have pictured here, and I especially like the simplicity and the colors. It is such a special atmosphere you have captured, With the cyclist passing by, and he is standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is also Sharp With Clear and well defined details to be seen, and the exposure and white Balance is Perfect.
The format and framing is very good, and With the cyclist off to the let, and the distant hills to the right, it is a very good Balance in the composition. A truly lovely and well and well taken photo, and With an excellent DOF.

That's one brave cyclist! I hope he reviewed the tide schedule before striking out. The colors and horizontal elements in your photo are very appealing, and nicely contrasted with the low mountain and cyclist body.
