Love your cute little squirrels and this one has been captured beautifully with the backlighting on the bushy tail. Great focus and composition showing the detail nicely.

You have pictured this Sweet squirrel so well using back light, and I especially like how the rays from the sun are shining through its bushy tail. The way it is posing for you while eating is so lovely, and it is also standing out from the background in an excellent way.
The photo is also Sharp showing truly Clear and well defined details all over, and also the fine textures of the fur is shown well. The exposure is just Perfect.
The format you have cropped the photo into Works well, and the squirrel has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.
