Nik,
An interesting picture of the pier in Santa Monica,in California with people chatting & fishing. While in the centre two dogs are in conversation. The railings casting shadows on the pier. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I like the sense of leisure the photo provides. The angle at which you took the photo works very well, and I think this would make for an excellent painting. The contrast along with the horizons line look good, getting all the elements from nature to man together in this well unified photo. I like how you have a triangular element: with the rail going diagonally, the horizon, and the people for the vertical.

This is an interesting candid. The situation looks a bit funny to me. There are several fishing pols unattended. Only one man seems actually to fish while the woman seem to have no interest in fishing and just enjoying their conversation.
Your photo is well focused and exposed. It has good depth. Light and colors are natural-realistic. The shadows are interesting. The photo is well framed. The composition is balanced.

I really like this candid shot of people relaxing and having a good time. I especially like Your POV creating such fine leading lines, and also the fine shadows from the fence.
The photo is of course also Nice and Sharp showing Clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is working well, and With the two ladies on the left, it is a fine Balance in the composition. A great looking and well taken photo Nikman.
