I totally agree With you Allan, it is the light doing this photo more than anything, and I also like the simplicity With the Limited color pallet. The softened background With the faded plants looks great.
Your Focus is spot on and Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details in the foxtail, and the exposure is Perfect.
I also like the way you have cropped the photo and the placement of the foxtail off to the right. A truly lovely and well taken photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

Thanks Annie, it is fun to take a very simple subject and create something that has an artistic feel. I think I have the need to do this either in art or photography, almost the same need as eating! :)
Thanks for your ongoing support.

I love this! You have taken an ordinary plant and presented it is such an artful way, I like very much the position of the foxtail coming from the right corner diagonally toward upper left, and the one on the left slightly blurred gives us a sense of how the foxtails grow, the lighting is beautiful coming through from behind the plant allowing such a good look at all of its tiny hair like details, this is well focused, this image is clear, exposure is managed well. The soft colors and tones appear natural. Well composed and presented!

Thanks Pat, you have a really good eye and knack for critiquing images. You never add fluff just to say something which I and others appreciate a lot. Thanks again for your time!

You might want to go back and edit your category, seeing that it is listed as Erotic-lol-someone might be disappointed when they go to view! Anyway, you are right, the backlighting makes for a very beautiful and artistic image, one that should do extremely well in the contest! Excellent focus and lighting,I wish you all the best!

Ah, you caught on to my "bait and switch" scheme. Drat!
I will have to change that now that you are on to me.
Thanks for your comments, greatly appreciated!

The back-lighting is perfect. The fox tails are standing out excellently from the shallow background. The colors are intriguing. The photo is well framed and composed.
You have this photo posted as "Nudity". I guess in accident. It would be better to change the category to Nature.

Yes indeed, a slip of the mouse from nature to nudity. Of course there are some that will be very disappointed now that the truth comes out. Thanks for your comments!
