A beautiful flower that is shown in very nice detail. The depth of field that keeps both the stamen and petals in such sharp focus is excellent. The background is attractive and does not compete with the subject for our attention. A beautiful composition with very fine colors.

Annie,#A beautiful picture of this deep pink star shaped Rain Lily with its gold tipped stamens encircling the long white pistil the light from above highlights the centre while the light from behind it makes the petal glow out from your beautiful digital backdrop. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Great work here Annie. I know exactly what you mean that a subject seems to shout out "Set me free in your photo". I think there is something about the larger forces working when we hear a thing or a scene longing to be "Created" through our lens. Nice work Annie in seeing and 'hearing' this one ~ Steve

Gorgeous flower with the star like petals surrounding the pistils which stand up proudly. The rich color dappled in places is very natural and your focus is sharp. Can understand how you had to photograph this beauty.
