Hi Mark - It's been awhile! Kathy here.... Just thought I'd subscribe for a month and see what everyone has been up.. to. Check in... Well, I'm also a pretty darn big fan of superhero's and find myself having to stay on top of all the new Marvel releases! LOL. So this is Ra.. Nice work!

Can't wait till April.."the new mutants" movie will finally be released. This one will be more darker, kinda supernatural. I'm up on all the marvel and DC releases. Also want to catch "birds of prey"..oh btw welcome back .hope ya stay a lil longer(thumbs up). Thanks for the great review

I think this is a hero rather than a villan ... the flames on the legs? Does that mean he has rocket set off power? Great imagination that your grandson knows you have and it has created this gaming model hero. Great colour 8mpact, strong and bold figure with comic or gaming character potential. Now,we just need a story.....

I found and find Egyptian art fascinating so like this. I've had my go at Ra the sun god, though I am not ten. This really hits the spot. My grandmother still believed in a sun god in 1946 when we were exiled and had to come West. Mum told me how they had a huge sun on the sideboard, not a Jesus.. and were vegetarians. Sadly, they drank heavily. The sun God wasn't particularly moral it seems. Lots of great detail. Love the way your grandsons mix with your work.

I'm the cool grandpa who chats with them over cartoon characters and know what I'm talking about instead of saying "that's nice dear" (like most grandparents say). Wink wink..they give me cartoon collector cards from marvel , DC and others. I'm like a kid when I get em saying "oh that's cool! That is this character.. etc..yeah I think I want to be a cartoonist when I grow up! Evil grin..thanks for the great review dudette!

Another very cool work here Troop. I really like the theme of Ra Rising. The flames are a cool twist to what one would normally associate with this Egyptian god.
Definitely a lot of yellow which immediately catches the eye and the imagination.

Hi Mark, Your grandson is one lucky dude to have such a talented grampa! Ra is awesome! I could be totally wrong but isn't RA a Sun God? You can tell from his eyes, his build and from the incredible burst of fiery flame, this guy literally is just bursting with power!!! I would not like to be on his bad side. Very Cool and a definitely a piece of art to be treasured by your grandson! :o) Nancy

Of course they request it!!!! If I had you for a grandfather I'd be doing the same thing! Not kidding! Your grandkids know what a special and talented grandpa they have!
