Lee Anne,
A beautiful picture of this Deer lying on the snow covered ground while more show falls around & over it. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Hi Shadow, I can't blame you for wanting to capture a lot of deer pictures like this when the deer are so obliging! This is a great shot! Love how this guy or gal has just hunkered down in the snow! A very cool and interesting shot! Thanks for sharing!

The deer looks like a statue on which snow has accumulated. The snow on top the head and on the back seems at least 1 cm. Even the face has snow alover it. The photo is focused and has good depth and exposure. The colors are realistic. The animal is nicely placed into the frame. The composition is balanced.

A pretty good and serene looking nature shot posted here! Your fine, full and central composition offers us a good look at your doe and its snowy location. Yes, she does look quite content with her wintery situation out there. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well taken!

how lucky LeeAnn to have such a wonderful animal posing for you instead of a common cat or dog;
I like his snow covered fur;
excellent control of exposure for the snow;

She is quite comfortable there as she rests on the snowy ground and doesn't seem to mind the snowy blanket that covered her.
Well focused, clear image with good exposure, very nice white snow! Natural colors and tones on the doe. Well composed and presented!

Cool,LeeAnn!
That's a fine looking photograph,my friend!
The somewhat 'blank look' on the deer's face and the depressing snow give the seen a sort of a 'Lonely and Hopeless' kind of a tone which is really interesting!

When the cranes are around I go through 50 lbs of corn in about 2 weeks; I imagine you go through a lot more than that. A very nice shot with a great exposure for all that snow.

Wow the snow looks very deep and cold but the deer seem unaffected by the cold. Nice composition showing the deer just "chilling out" Good focus.

I may use that for a title sometime! They are definitely well insulated between their body fat and heavy winter coat;thanks!

So cute! Perfect pose for you and your lens. I like the dusting of snow on it's fur and the look towards you.
Fine focus and nice white balance Control.
