An interestic educational shot of these children in canoes. They give way yet water and sea laws say they have presidence along with sailboats not on engine. They are learning so best be careful ... and stay clear. The shot is very good. You have captured the whole scene, the senery, the water and the action. Good focus and use of light has given us fine detail and colour. I particularly like the colour of the helmets reflecting as blue blobs in the water

Canoeing seems indeed a wonderful outdoor activity. The children probably learn a lot about nature also and they seem really to enjoy the boat ride. I like the angle of the shot. The viewer feels as if passing by in a boat him/herself. The photo is well focused and treated with mixed media. The colors look natural-realistic. The mixed media is perfectly composed and framed.

I like the aesthetics of the photo: with the stone bridge over the river and the forest all around, it has all the makings of a painting. I also like how that combines with the modern day, showing the boys having a good time which puts into context the wilderness combined with humans' usage of it.
