It is such a treat to see your beautiful Australian birds. A great unobstructed view of this one in a fine natural setting. I wish I had a 6 left for this one. I owe you one.

A pretty good nature photo posted here! Does that lovely bird, in your fine off-centre composition really eat honey? Yes, that white plume really does stand out! Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely done!

Thanks so much - honeyeaters mainly feed by gleaning leaf surfaces the tongue contains brush-like filaments consisting of about 60 bristles which is capable of mopping up nectar.

Many thanks! You are obviously an expert on bird tongues!!

If it has rapid darting movements you did better than well here catching him perched so on this twig. Nice angle ratio. Crisp details and great natural colours. He sits proud against the slightly defused background which works well. Interesting notes and nice presentation.

A delightful image of this White Plumed Honeyeater. I admire you for capturing the various birds that I have seen as they are not easy to do so, especially if they move quickly.
This Honeyeater has a lovely soft yellow plumage with deeper yellow face and tips of wings clearly seen by the light. Harmonising with the bush makes an attractive shot Mary.

The white plumed honeyeater is another bird I have not seen before, I really appreciate this opportunity to view.
I like the yellow tones with the tan tones and the white plume. I like this natural setting allowing a sense of this birds location. I like it's placement in the frame.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is correct, the colors and tones appear natural. Nice detail over every part of this lovely bird, especially appreciate the clear eye! Well composed and presented!

Cool,Mary!
That's a fine looking photographic capture of a type of bird that I'm pretty sure I drew a picture ( or at less a partial picture! ) of a few years ago! ( I'll rummage through my 'archives' later this week and see if it's still around! : ) )
'Good Show',my friend!
