Beautiful capture Pat ;)
It's so pleasing to see white Balance Controlled on a snowy scene like this. It's been yrs that most members have been here and they still don't understand exposure, Kelvin Scale and F/stop.
Why spend the money on a camera if all you do is use auto settings?
Your focus is sharp, exposure Controlled and your POV offers a winter wonderland picture perfect Holiday Card.
Well done ;)

Wow, this look cold. Burrrrrr.
It appears like the snow is blowing off the mountains, making it feel even more cold. Nice contrast, and good depth of field. The trees in the foreground brings life into the photo. I like it.

Hi Pat, If you can't feel the cold in this then there's something wrong with you! LOL Snow and ice predominate this incredible image. I love the beautiful hues of the mountain and the ice or snow laden trees. Wow!, goes a long way in this image showing us the absolutely frigid conditions of the day! I can't believe all my six star ratings are gone, but if I had one it would belong to this magnificent shot! :o) Nancy

when I was a girl, I had many penfriends in Austria and Germany /to try to find my brother as nothing else seemed to have succeeded/ and they would send me calendars each year. They had scenes like this. I lived in a very dirty, small steelworks town and you can imagine how I used to contrast the two in my mind. I was always painting mountain sceneries! Beautiful image.

A stunningly beautiful (and COLD) landscape,those trees bedecked with rime ice are a photographer's dream come true! A great capture of the snowy mountain peaks with their cloak of fog rising above the icy landscape. The whites and blues in this photo compliment each other so very well and makes this image a real pleasure to view!

Cold days are very attractive to a Floridian such as myself :)

Your shot of these blue cold mountains is astounding!

Such minute details and a grace setting that God himself can only create.

Well done my friend

Love this very frosty frame! It looks bone chilling. The white frost and snow with the blue sky is always a winning combination. Nice composition on this one too. Gorgeous!

This one makes me feel positively toasty in our weather that hovers around freezing. A beautiful composition with a great exposure for the snow.

a wonderful winter scene panorama Pat; I like how the pine trees are covered with snow and ice with no more visible green; a beautiful panorama with the moutains in the background;
