Love this very cold winter scene! Beautiful to look at but sure not so good to be out in it.

That is a very beautiful & finger tingling picture of the mountains, trees & the foreground under a blanket of snow with the clouds being blown over the mountain peaks The sun shining through the clouds lighting up the mountain peaks in the cente the sky looks heavy with more snow to fall soon. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

There seems to be a cold halo encompassing the ridge line of the mountain and the subtle colors enhance the feeling of very cold. Love the frosted trees in foreground. Nicely composed.

What a wonderful scene. Is that a plateau in front of the trees or frozen snow on water. Those mountains are fantastically shown here at that angle with that cold white outlining line.. I love the colours that really do look cold. The trees,are like frosted spurs. You have an excellent eye to capture such a scene. The details are extremely fine and crisp.

It has not been any snow at all here in Oslo this Winter, and I am longing to see scenes like this. It is not that I love Winters, but when it is, it should be snow and frost. In this photo I especially like how the light is falling on the top of the Mountains and the low clouds.
The photo is of course also Sharp showing such Clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure and white Balance is very good.
I also like the format you have cropped the photo into, and it is a fine Balance in the composition. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Pat, and With an excellent DOF.
