A beautiful blackbird that is posing nicely for you on your planters. I like the profile and the great detail in his eye. A very nice composition with beautiful colors.

This photo is perfectly focused and exposed. I amazed how the eye of the blackbird glints out from the black feathers. Such refined detail in black is not easy tom archive. The bird is excellently placed within the frame. The colors are natural-realistic. The photo is well composed.

A quite lovely nature shot posted here for us to enjoy! Your fine and off-centre composition gives us a good look at your blackbird. Judging by his beak, he looks to have been a very busy fellow out there! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Blackbird after he'd been grubbing about in that planter.

yes very lovely indeed. great to see these iconic british birds. lovely angle and suitable natural framing of those pots. you have captured an endearing and sharp photo. his beak is very brightly coloured, like he has dipped it in some bright orange paint.

    Vincent,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Blackbird both beautiful & great "Opera singers" that I hear everyday when I take Jesse for her walk in the Park. I think we are very lucky with the variety of bird species that visit our garden on these two Islands.

    Fred,
Merci beaucoup mille fois for your complementary review on this Blackbird on the rim of the empty planter. The one beside it has Campanula growing in it. I need to weed & replant the planter, just waiting for a dry day so I can walk on the lawn without sinking into the mud.
