what a gorgeous little birdd, i love the way you have caught his feet clinging to the branch, it is quite unusual to see it so clearly, wonderful. His striped head is reminiscent of a mole or some such animal.. remind me which!

Excellent capture, Pat, showing this beautiful little Nuthatch perched in your garden. I like the profile view - his body looks quite small compared with his head. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Hi Pat, When it comes to being cute birds, Nuthatches and Chickadees are two of my favorites. I think of Nuthatches as elongated Chickadees. LOL Love the pose of this little fellow. Lighting and focus are perfect. Blurred background d lets you eye focus right where it should...on the Nuthatch! Very Nicely Done! :o) Nancy
