Amazingly cool image, Pat! I'm glad to be the 15th reviewer of this one! Wish I had one 6 pack left to honor your work! Peaceful and pleasant view! And you climbed up there to take this one! You're a hero! Right time and the right place and angle of view! The dark shape of the bank is interesting and ballances the sun perfectly. Nicely done again, my friend!! It's an artistic capture. I love the sky when there is a red sunset it captures so many aspects of any panarama it sits over. Here we have a narrow skyline and a large area of water with protruding land on the right very nicely silhouetted. The red vibrates throughout your capture and the saturation is of an excellent level so it doesn't completely obliterate the finer details. It's a lovely shot Pat.

this is like one of my latest paintings! Another postcard photograph - totally unexpected from Alaska- Just fantastic. We have a prog on tv at the moment, where several couples from all walks of life are having to show their worth, build a cabin etc They will be judged by a famous Alaskan and the best of them receives a prize. I am not sure a computer man or some such job will be as useful and quick as a builder and his lady! We will see. The said builder immediately got things going for a shelter at the beginning and showed great leadership skills by managing the other couples by his own example.

A very nice composition with fantastic colors in the sky. I like the exposure that leaves the land silhouetted. The sun is nicely placed in the frame and the reflection is gorgeous.
