I live by the sea in the UK so this is a common sight for me - I love to watch the seagulls. This is a great shot of the seagull just about to take off and a very fitting entry for the contest. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice sharp image. Great composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

A very nice shot; it is too bad that you were so zoomed in that you clipped off the wing when he decided to take off. A good exposure with fine colors. Best of luck in the contest.

yes I agree. he fit fine in the frame when he was just sitting. this was a push the button quickly pic as he decided to take off.
