Truly, you did make it come alive! Nice job on the shadowing. Somehow, I wish the clouds hadn't been so round, but it shows great imagination and planning.

All I see is 1 big cloud..where are you getting more than 1? Not many folks really pay attention to the source of the lightning..only the lightning itself huh? Thanks for quickie review..lol

I see two circles with lightning coming out of each over a sea of water. It truly is alive.

today we have snow, but it began with lightning in the evening two nights ago, and I mean bright lightning, which flashed through the net curtains as it forced itself across the skies, so I am with this. though if you turn it upside down, it looks like two plants bereft of leaves!

This composition is most unusual. I like the monochromatic of the drawing. How the lightning penetrate the glowing clouds is impressive. It seems that either, Odin or some malevolent aliens caused the electrical storm. I am curious how this story will develop.

Wow! The lighting is alive and I can almost see it moving , I like the lights in the sky above it! You did an awesome job in creating it, and it looks like it took some time , it's a unique scene . Well arranged and presented!

Lightning does not strike twice the same site!
Excellent choice of subject.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Harmonious simple colors.
Compact framing.
Best of luck in the contest!

Thanks for sharing...

I'm liking it!! Another departure from the usual. I love to be out in a storm under my carport. I love the smell, the wind blowing, the thunder and the lightning. I might be a bit crazy. I like your portrayal of the bolts coming out of what seems a couple of clouds. Great job!!

Very EYE catching! I look forward to seeing where you go with this. Could be an electric event for the late night drive or a wake up call for the night kite guy who says "Bring it on."

Maybe because it IS!!!? I'm trying to find the aliens that are going to fly the buried machines and try to take over the world,I saw the movie-lol!!! It is a great depiction of forked lightning emanating from those glowing clouds(or going UP to them!) It really seems to glow and light up the nighttime sky with it's brilliance.A spectacular entry for the contest, wish you all the best!

A unique theme for this Nature Art contest. The black and white lightening is bold and dramatic. I like the overall monotone colors you used on this one Mark. Great work and all the best in the contest ~ Top
