What an awesome place to see. The geological science behind the dynamic processes of this area is so interesting. I really need to visit this place of hydrothermal wonders one day :) Your capture of the colors and the steam is very attractive with a good show of textures. The pov shows off the terrain nicely.

Very nice contrasts of the natural elements existing within the same landscape. Maybe a little more darkness in the background such as ultramarine blue. Just a hint would make for a nice duality between front ground and back ground.

I think this is one of the best photos I have seen of the Yellowstone hot pools. I especially like the golden colors of the background in contrast to the smoky area of the background. You have also brought out such fine textures.

The photo is very Sharp showing Clear and well defined details of the foreground, and the exposure is just Perfect. Needless to say that the colors are just great.

The format and framing is very good, and With the point of view you used, it is a very good Balance in the composition. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo Steve, and With an excellent DOF. I wish you Luck With the contest.

LOL. BFF I am still waiting for lessons from YOU! Hey there are some great videos on YouTube that will tell you how to take pictures with the iPhone11. It can do some things that you will not discover without being shown what it can do. There is one guy who shows a lot of photography tricks you can do with an iPhone.

Thank you so much for your More than Generous rating BFF. You are always so encouraging. I guess that is why you are my BFF ; )

This is an almost mystical view. The hot pools look like an planet in the making, like our earth might have looked at the beginning. How the colors of the foreground merge into the vague and colorless infinity of the background is striking. The photo is perfectly focused and treated with mixed media. Refined details are shown despite the haze. The mixed media is excellently composed and framed.
