Hmmm... I love these guys as well as chipmunks! I recently quit having my chipmunk series printed on coasters and quickly learned they were missed (thus I'm back in production). Pat, This is a great close up that offers story telling as well as detail of the subject. The entire little one is well focused / detailed to the point the viewer can feel the texture through their eyes. There is just a hint of luminescence that highlights the tail - I love it. Kathy

So, so cute Pat! Yes they do have such adorable faces and you have captured this little squirrel perfectly as he eats away not too concerned about your camera.
The lighting and details of this squirrel are fabulous and the colours are natural. Love the way he 'pops' against the blurred green background. Great capture!

A very nice shot of this little guy. The red squirrels are the smallest of the squirrels that I see around my feeders. I like this profile with its fine details and great colors.
