Oh what expressions these bright-eyed birds have from the front. I'm afraid that to my mind they might well lend themselves to hysterical cartoon personalities. Lovely teal eyes. "Lucy the The Comic Diving Cormorant." Do you know if it is male or female?

I really like this head on shot of your cormorant, especially the teal colored eyes!I like the detailing seen in the plumage and the bill,as well as the diffused background. You probably could crop more off the top to see what that would look like, either way it's an interesting photo of a very intriguing looking bird!

This is a fun and amusing portrait of this cormorant looking right at the camera! He stands out well from the nice out of focus background. Nicely done!

Not sure about the background it is very distracting to the eye and takes away from this beautiful cormorant. Love the pose captured. Cheers Mary

This is an amazing photo. I've never seen this bird before. I love all of you're work so far. As I said earlier today, keep up the work and do it for you. You are an amazing photographer. The only bad thing I have to say about this is that there is nothing bad to say about this.

This is comical for sure. You are right he does appear to be seeing exactly that " I don't want you to look at me" hahahaha
Great detail. A great captured moment catching an excellent expression.
Well accomplished.

I appreciate the placement of the cormorant in the frame and it's pose, you have captured it's attention, however, it appears that you zoomed in and then cropped to bring the bird closer in frame, there is a lot of noise in background and over the bird. I do like his pretty blue eyes!

I find when editing a bunch of bird images I tend to delete almost all the full face shots. This one has nice eye contact but does not make the bird look his best.
