Very nice work Barbara ;)
White balance is handled well, the stop action of the snow falling is Fab and the clarity is great. It's a fine unique capture of Geese in a snowstorm.
Well done :)

Barbara,
A beautiful picture of these six Canada Geese swimming in the creek near you while the big wet snow flakes fall around them. Their reflections seen on the water of the creek. Beautiful composition framing and lightning taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Not sure how the birds survive such cold conditions - lovely composition with good reflection of the geese on lake. Natural colors and good white balance and exposure.

So which half is warmer, the top half in the snow and breezes, or the duck's underside below the water? I suppose it depends on many factors. The water would maintain a more constant temperature... this is a delightful photo. My admiration!

I guess the Geese are used to such weather, but taking this photo was probably not easy. I hope you and your camera survived without damage. Your photo is well focused and exposed. I like that we see the snowflakes falling down. You captured good detail. The reflections are interesting. The colors are nicely natural-realistic. The birds are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

We have been getting a lot of snow lately and I went out yesterday to try to get some shots. I didn't get anything as nice as this though. A fine capture of the falling snow.

a great capture Barbara: it would have been an excellent entry to a winter scene contest;
good focus of the Canada geese despite the heavy snow falling;

A good winter nature shot posted here! Your fine and central composition offers us a good look at the snowy scene before you. Those geese do not seem too bothered by the snow. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
