A wonderful capture of this Dove utilizing it's ability to retain body heat. The sharp focus and perfect depth of field allows the viewer to appreciate the fine details in the feathers. The perspective creates a nice leading line with the branch and the hints of snow help tell the story of a cold day and survival skills of the dove. Nice work. Kathy

What a great capture here Barbara. I love the puffed up look as the Dove attempts to keep warm. I have seen them doing the same thing in my trees.
Nice sharp focus with natural colors and great use of natural light.

Lovely image of the dove who has fluffed out all his feathers. Colors appear very natural and your blurred background is complementary. Focus is sharp on eye.

This is a beautiful. The dof and sharp capture of the bird are very attractive. I like the puffed up feathers too and the gorgeous definition of the feathers. The lighting is well captured with excellent exposure.
