Beautiful capture Barbara ;)
I like the puffed up fluff of it's shape and feathers. Excellent white balance control with superb eye clarity and fine focus.
My only suggestion is to clone out that bottom twig like branch.

Extremely clear photo of this lovely creature, taken in subdued lighting. It is deserving of a 6 if I had one. I heard a lot of Mourning Doves in the deserts of Baja California back in 1960s and early 70s. I wonder if as many coo as they used to do, now after the tourist invasion. This one here is a treasure and beautifully photographed!

Extremely clear photo of this lovely creature, taken in subdued lighting. It is deserving of a 6 if I had one. I heard a lot of Mourning Doves in the deserts of Baja California back in 1960s and early 70s. I wonder if as many coo as they used to do, now after the tourist invasion. This one here is a treasure and beautifully photographed!

The Dove stands nicely out from the shallow background. Details of her plumage and body and of the branch are refined. The colors are realistic. The Dove is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
