It must have been scary. Flooding in a city often causes epidemics and great damage. On the other hand, it produces remarkable views as the one you captured. Your night photo is impressive. The colors are alluring. The reflections are interesting. The photo is focused and well exposed. The colors are realistic. The cityscape is well composed and sufficiently framed.

A pretty average looking shot posted here into the competition. Your composition is fine but I do not like the exposure and sharpness. This scene needed to be tackled with a long exposure and tripod.

A beautiful nightscape of Paris. Ones eye is immediately drawn to the Eifel Tower and it's reflection in the water. It takes a minute to realize the rising water - a quick shift in the viewers emotion from relaxing and calm goes to that of worry and regret. The image tells a story and sparks emotion - a huge plus in art.

The Paris night scene is enhanced by the reflections in the flooded road which add depth and interest to the composition. Placement of the tower toward the left rear adds further dimension and depth to the scene. Lighting and all other aspects of the photo are well managed. Good choice for the contest and good luck.

A beautiful atmospheric picture of Paris by night the floodlit Tour Eiffel glowing out in the darkness & reflecting on the flooded Seine that has broken it's banks putting the roads & buildings along it under water. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the Contest.
