The Tooth Fairy used to give me a quarter. Inflation!! The little girl looks so excited. Of course, the Tooth Fairy is supposed to leave the money under the pillow and not be seen. I am still amazed by the way you are able to blend the Sharpies. I was the Elementary Dean at the school, which I was employed. There was this little boy in the 1st grade that would bring his tooth in to me to show me he had lost his tooth. He lived in the projects and the tooth fairy didn't come to his house. I felt so sorry for him. I got a picture of a tooth and would attach a dollar bill and give it to his teacher so the day after I saw the tooth, he would get money from the tooth fairy at school. I don't think he ever caught on and I hope his mother didn't take the dollar for herself. Drugs are prevalent in the projects. So sad.

This is exactly what losing teeth is about--looking forward to the tooth fairy, and bragging to your friends, see I lost another tooth! And the thrill of the fortune, which could be as much as a nickel!!! Wow! The expression is priceless. A masterpiece of being six years old.

Ahhh... Something tells me the tooth fairy needs to up the coin amount per tooth! ;) We get in the 3 digits per tooth we take out!! ;) wink wink!

Made me laugh - my poor granddaughter is missing so many teeth - I'm amazed she can chew her food anymore. And Yes the tooth fairly has been visiting her frequently too.
Such a fun whimsical drawing that promotes lighthearted amusement - Who can't help but to smile when looking at the expression you have created on this girls face. Great detail - Great Story - Perfectly executed both aesthetically and compositionally.
